Brittany and Dean are lovers of the sea and dreamed of a seaside wedding. Luckily for them, the beautiful Penfield Pavilion had recently reopened after extensive renovations and repair due to hurricane damage. The date in late September was set!
Amazingly talented DIY couple, Brittany and Dean created their one-of-a-kind seating chart, complete with lighting. They also made their own table numbers out of sea glass and added many other personal touches to their day. Knowing exactly how they wanted to transform the venue, Gayle set-up the space as they desired, incorporating all of the couples design elements.
Their ceremony took place outside on the breezy beach. Brittany was tucked away prior to the ceremony and only first appeared to her groom as she walked down the aisle. Having a ceremony rehearsal beforehand, organized by Gayle, ensured a seamless processional and ceremony.
The cocktail hour and seated dinner took place inside the dimly lit venue. Bistro lighting added romantic ambience as the sun set outside. Signature cocktails and full bar were available for guests as well as dancing and traditional fun, such as the bouquet and garter toss.
A beautiful wedding cake was set atop a nautical base and after the cake cutting guests were invited to enjoy cake and a special treat, "adult themed" ice cream from the Tipsy Cones truck that rolled up outside, after dinner was served.
Guests went home with custom koosies and wonderful memories of a beautiful wedding for a sweet and loving couple. We wish Brittany and Dean much love always!
