Gayle is proud to be co-founder of the newly formed Fairfield County Wedding Concierge, LLC. The mission of this business is to connect local, engaged couples to local bridal vendors through bridal shows, a website vendor directory and events. This business also produces networking events for bridal industry professionals, business to business (B2B) events.

One of these B2B events took place in the Barn at the Audubon Greenwich, also the site of the FCWC Bridal Fête, held in October, a curated bridal show for engaged couples. The Networking Bash was the kick-off event for the Bridal Fête.

Approximately 30 professionals attended; they were able to mix and mingle, while also referring business to each other. Gayle and her co-partner Diana, secured sponsorships for the event. Sponsors provided a product or service that contributed to the Networking Bash. With the event taking place in a bare space, every element needed to be secured - from guest seating to food and cocktails. Being a sponsor was an opportunity for a business to showcase what they do to their industry peers as well.

When planning events in unique spaces, more coordination and planning is usually needed whether it be a business event or social occasion. It was even necessary to have a date change due to bad weather. Weather issues aside, the Networking Bash turned out beautifully and it was also a great opportunity to showcase the venue.

All guests departed with a custom swag bag, which included information about all the sponsors as well as some special goodies such as chocolates and pens from the Audubon.
